After arrive drive to Kandy, en route visit The Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage is situated northwest of the town of Kegalle, halfway between the present commercial capital Colombo and the ancient royal residence Kandy. There are about 84 elephants under protection. The orphanage is open to the public. over night stay in Kandy. dinner at hotel.

Day 3

After breackfast City tour in Kandy. The Sri Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relicis a temple in the city of Kandy in Sri Lanka. It was built within the royal palace complex, which houses the only surviving relic of the Buddha, a tooth venerated by Buddhists. The relic has played an important role in local politics since ancient times, it is believed that whoever owns the relic holds the government of the country, which led the ancient kings to go to great lengths to protect it. Kandy was the capital of the Sinhalese kings from 1592 to 1815, fortified by the terrain of the mountains and the difficult access. The city is an area declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, partly due to the temple. In the afternoon drive to Nuwara Eliya, en route visit of the Peradeniya Botanical Garden , the tea factory and plantation. over night stay at Nuwaraeliya, dinner at hotel.
